Angel Gowns – Make a Bespoke Angel Gown For a Child in Need

A recent donation from Levine Children’s Hospital provided Eli Williamson with a new angel gown. An angel gown is a wedding gown made from fabric that is too rough for the baby to wear, so the parents donate it to the hospital instead. The newborn’s mother, Deanna Williamson, had seen an ad for the angel gowns on Facebook and contacted the organization. Within minutes, she was on a waiting list to receive a baby angel’s dress.

The Angel Gowns Project accepts your old wedding dress and turns it into a beautiful, bespoke wedding dress for a child who has lost a loved one to stillbirth or miscarriage. For only $100, you can follow the progress of your gown, meet the seamstress, and have your angel gown delivered to a developing country. You can even have some of the gowns returned to you to donate in the USA.

The program is made up of volunteer-run chapters from Florida to Arkansas, and you can join the group as a volunteer. You don’t have to be an expert sewer to donate a gown. The Angel Gowns team is there to help, so even if you have no sewing experience, all you need is a willingness to learn. In addition, you can face-to-face with Cortes to ask for advice or guidance.

The Sunshine State Angel Gowns organization is a nonprofit that provides free angel gowns to families who have lost a child. All gowns are handmade by volunteers from Orlando to Arkansas. Volunteers don’t need any sewing experience to become an angel. There is no experience necessary, and they can even learn from the experienced volunteers. As a volunteer, you won’t have to worry about the quality of the gown. If you don’t have the time to volunteer, you can FaceTime Cortes.

An Angel Gowns project lets you donate your own wedding dress to a hospital in need. You can also choose to donate a dress from your own closet. If you’d like to donate a wedding gown, a minimum of $100 will enable you to follow the progress of your gown and even meet the seamstress. Afterwards, you can donate your wedding dress to a developing country in memory of your loved one.

The Angel Gowns program helps families send a wedding dress to a developing country. For a $100 donation, you can follow the journey of your wedding dress by virtually meeting the seamstress in the developing country. Once your donated gown has been completed, you can keep some of the dresses and donate them back to a hospital in your own country. And you can also get your dress back after the ceremony if you choose. Just make sure to send it as a gift.
